Wireless IP CCTV Camera

->>> hi we are wanting a cctv system that is wireless but also has weather proof cameras that can be mounted on the side of the building
->>> we need 3 cameras but are aware they might come as 4
->> Right OK. How far the cameras would be from the recorder?
->>> only about 20m but it would be through external walls
->> I would strongly advise going wired as wireless can cause reliability and interference issues here and there.
->>> they only problem is we own a back to back property so getting the wires through would create a problem
->> How thick are the walls and how many between cameras and recorder
->>> two of the cameras would be through 1 @ 22" wall and the 3rd camera would be through 2 22" walls
->> Hm still going to be a gamble even with powerful transmitter and receivers. They usually work well in a clear line of sight with minimal obstacles in between.
->> Actually IP wireless cameras should be OK for that distance. Slightly more expensive though.
->>> to get through the walls and through two properties unfortunately wouldn't be practical therefore we would have to take the gamble with wireless.
->>> how much would they be?

->> Please click on the link above.
->>> ok thanks for your help
->> No problem. Would you like me to put a package together with 3 cameras?
->>> i think these would be too expensive for what we were looking it. we have found some other cameras that are better priced, thanks for your help
->> Sure. Just an advice, whatever you choose please don't go for cheap wireless camera systems from Maplins or B & Q as I can guarantee they wouldn't work.
