Wireless IP CCTV Camera Setup

->>> hi, i want to know is there a camera system whcih i could use. it is for a quarry, and so it would need to be wireless, with about four cameras, between point a the office and point b a farm. the range would need to be near a km. any ideas?
->> Have you got Internet available at both ends?
->>> yes
->> That's no problem then. You can have the cameras wired up back to the recorder at the farm. Connect the recorder to your Internet router and you can access images remotely from anywhere in the world.
->>> but can they be wireless/
->> They can be yes but I would rather suggest wired as wireless can cause interference and signal issues.
->>> it would just be a problem due to large machinery and large cliff faces to go past in the quarry with the cable route
->> Then the other alternative would be to go for IP cameras setup which would be relatively expensive.
->> Would you be installing the system yourself?
->>> would it be the machinery causing the interference or just geneal interference?
->>> yes
->> OK I would recommend IP setup in that case.
->>> how much, roughly and what way does it work?
->> http://www.ukcctv.co.uk/ipnw-u25a-25metres-outdoor-ip-camera-3g-wfi.aspx
->> Above is the camera
->> and below the recorder.
->>> ok i'll click on it now
->> http://www.ukcctv.co.uk/nas-12.aspx
->>> ok i see the rorder and then is that the cmaera you would buy to go with it?
->> Yes that would be the wifi camera that would communicate to your wireless router. And you can have this recorder at your office where you would get the recordings done on there via the Internet IP.
->>> ok and how far can the cameras be located from the recorder?
->> We will provide you full support in terms of its installation.
->> It could be as far as you like as the recording would be done via the Internet
->> Hope it makes sense?
->>> ok thats good. so if i were to purchase 4 cameras and the recorder, would you be able to make me a quote for this?
->>> one last thing, is there night vision on that camera?
->> Yes up to 25 meters night vision in complete darkness.
->>> and sound?
->> Yes it has a built in MIC.
->>> thanks thats brilliant
